My buddy Horsey

Finding Parting Stone was the best memorial for me to have my Horsey with me always. The stones were a beautiful white color and different sizes. I even carry one with me always as does my wife and grandson. He wanted one since he was born right after my Horsey passed away. He keeps it in his room. We have the stones in a nice bowl on our patio in the sunlight since he loved being outdoors. Everyone asks why we have the rocks and after we tell them they ask where they can get them for their pets. So thank you so much for giving me a lasting memorial for my buddy

A wonderful way to celebrate Steele

We lost our senior dog in September of 2024, and the entire family was absolutely devastated. Parting Stone allowed us to have a tangible reminder of him, and allowed us to help our 3 year old daughter process the loss. Not only are the actual stones worth every penny, but the empathy and respect that comes with every update and communication is wonderful. I could tell that the company and everyone who works there has an immense respect and appreciation for what they do, and what people are going through in their grief. I highly, highly recommend Parting Stone.

Heart felt and professionally done

Recently I put my Akita down , she had been a valued member of my family for 14 years . The idea of placing her ashes in an urn or tossing the ashes into the wind did not appeal to me . Then one day I came across a web site offering an alternative. Parting Stones … I’m so happy to have a chance to tell any who might listen how satisfying I feel about the way the people at Parting Stones handled the whole process. From arranging the shipments too and from their facility of Chena’s remains , the communication by e-mail documenting each step of the process evolving the solidification of her remains . That process took about 2 1/2 months. The end result produced about 40 hand shaped stones of various sizes but uniform shape and in my case similar color (off white) . Since receiving her solidified remains I’ve taken a stone to all the people who enriched Chena’s life for example her Vet , the place that kept her clean , her favorite places to visit and family members who seemed interested a opportunity to pick a stone as a memory. The remaining stones are piled up in front of a couple favorite pictures of Chena I keep in my room . Anyway.. for me this decision gave me good closure ! I recommend you give this alternative to physically hold a memory some thought

Perfect way to keep my doodle with me

So glad I found Parting Stone. Now Miss Molly (my dog) can be with me always, just like she was when she was living. I miss that dog but I love that she is always with me. Parting Stone made the whole process very easy and kept me updated every step of the way. Fabulous service.

Winston came home

When I sent our Doberman's ashes to Parting Stone, I did not anticipate the loss I would feel all over again. After only 7 weeks, the ashes had turned into the most beautiful smooth stones and my heart felt whole again. Thank you Justin for all you have done.

So much nicer to have than ashes

I’d never had a pet cremated and their ashes returned before, but I felt the need to get back my heart and soul dog in some form when I lost him 9 years ago. It broke my heart when he was gone. But having the ashes was almost worse, he sat on a shelf and it felt like I had abandoned him, how do you carry ashes around with you? These stones are perfect! I can carry one of his stones with me always, and they are polished, smooth, and I can hold them - you can’t do that easily with ashes. Parting Stone was very caring for my feelings, and my Boy’s remains.

A good rule of thumb is that we will return a similar volume of solidified remains’ stones as the volume of ashes that we receive.
